Two volunteers, Holger Dullin and Jo Bellanca, and their son Elias, got involved in the Grace Care Child Programme in 2019 during their long service leave (a great Australian institution!). In June/July they spent five weeks at the school. Jo and Holger were teaching Science and Maths, respectively, and their 10 year old son Elias was attending year 5.
Director Emmanuel Kamuli, his wife Sarah and his whole family made us feel at home in Uganda, and we had the most amazing experience teaching and learning at the school.

Coming back home to Australia our mission is to help raise funds for the school, in particular for the building of the new high school.
