Grace Care School Kampala

Supporting Orphans and
Children in Need in Uganda

We are a non-profit organisation based in Australia that is directly supporting a school for orphans and children in need in Kampala, Uganda.

About Grace Care

The School

The school is located in Kampala in the suburb Kyamula. It runs from nursery and kindergarten through year 7 and currently supports 240 children. The children receive two meals per day at the school, and there is a clean water supply. The costs for running the school including teacher salaries, food and school uniforms are provided by donations from Australia and the USA. More details can be found at the HADA project page. The main project for the near future is the building of a new high school.

A dream is coming true

A new High School

Currently grace care school runs from nursery and kindergarten through to year 7. At the moment many of the kids cannot continue their schooling past year 7.

The project director Emanuel Kamuli has (literally!) laid the foundations for the new high school, visible in the background. The location of the high school is between Kampala and Entebbe, near the town of Nakawuka
